You managed to play exactly to the version we wanted and it was phenomenal

Dear James,

I am sorry it’s taken a few weeks to write this but Simon and I wanted to say thank you very much to you and all the gang at Metropolis for a storming party at our wedding last month. I am sorry we couldn’t really articulate our thanks (or anything else much!) on the day - all I remember is shaking your hand and trying to say thank-you but not really being with it!

You created a wonderful atmosphere. The performance, the quality of the sound and the band's engagement with the guests was simply wonderful. Simon is still being blamed by the one non-English speaking (Italian) guest who hadn't a clue what was going on when Simon nominated him for an audience rendition of “Get Lucky”!

And the whole dance class was hugely impressed with  the Strictly version ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ that we asked you to learn. You managed to play exactly to the version we wanted and it was phenomenal. It’s a shame the same can’t be said for our jive!! If you get a chance, might you be able to send me the full playlist of what was played? It all felt a bit a bit of a whirl and it would be lovely to have the list so we can remember it.
