Getting The Best Performance
A 12 Hour Day
Q: Do we HAVE to feed the band?A: It’s a 12-hour day for the band (from door-to-door) and a good meal gets the best out of everybody. This question is asked a surprising amount of times. Eating together is an act of togetherness that helps build a group. It’s not much to ask to put some hot food together for the musicians, singers and crew.
Rehearsal Time
Have you heard this stat? ‘It takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at anything.’ Professional function bands team with men and women who’ve put in a lot more than 10,000 hours. For every hour on stage you can be assured that musician has put in hours, put in thought and spirit to create a performance.
Technical Switch
You’ll notice a bank of equipment to one side of the stage and you’ll see some very shiny and very sexy hardware on stage (MacBook Pros) because a band needs the very best equipment to aid sound and make the best performance. So it’s not just the musicians that give you the show it’s the sound and other technical services that throw the switches and turn a professional band to “ON.”To find out more about the band and its habits, drop us a line or give us a call for a chat. All the best,
