Well it’s the first blog post of 2014. Those of you who keep an eye on the blog will notice things have been a little quiet of late! There is a reason for that… we have been launching a brand new website.Those of you who have worked with us before will know we cover a large range of services in the events industry and we found one website simply wasn’t cutting it. So, here after many hours behind the Mac is www.metropolisproductions.co.uk .

This site is hot off the press and is designed to give an overview of the company as whole. It covers our three main areas:• Technical Production• Event Management• EntertainmentAs the company grows we are now getting asked to provide each of these areas individually. To do each of the areas justice we thought the best thing was to have a whole site dedicated to this.

Also, fresh for 2014 we’ve given this site a mini rebrand. Over the past year we have a amassed bags of media - from the first dance films  all the way through to the Jewish collaborations we have worked on with Blake Ezra Photography. On the Videos page there are no less than 32 films!The site is now cleaner to navigate and  the homepage now has direct links to our three major acts:• Metropolis Showband• Metropolis Unplugged• DJ live
